So long endless summer nights, hiking in the great outdoors and margaritas by the pool. Hard to believe it’s been 5 weeks since we were hiking in the Tetons, but here we are; back to school which means summer is practically over.
Now that school is back in sesh, it’s time to start thinking about the holidays.
You know how it goes; Labor Day turns into Halloween turns into Thanksgiving then it’s right into the Christmas New Year blur with dysfunctional family dinners and ugly sweater*parties. (*funny story if you read all the way to the bottom)
There are currently 14 Fridays until Black Friday; that’s 99 days until the holiday shopping frenzy is upon us.
Why take part in that madness when you can get a head start now so later you can kick back and enjoy the holidays? Champagne anyone?
Truth: Personalized and custom orders take extra time. Last year I had to tell people NO because they waited until the last minute to order and I couldn’t meet shipping deadlines for on time Christmas delivery. I don’t want to have to tell you NO.
FYI, this is the number one seller in the shop and Christmas orders are already coming in.
Don’t get stuck without putting a well thought out gift under the tree for your special someone.
Why you should order now for the holidays:
- Sanity – if you really enjoy being in a crowded mall and getting hit in the back of the legs by strollers go for it. I would bet you don’t enjoy that at all and would rather hang out with your peeps doing something fun, like anything but being in a mall.
- Celebrate – so you can kick back and enjoy all the holiday festivities because you are DONE shopping. I hear the champagne poppin’ now.
- Free Shipping – all orders $50 and up get free shipping NOW thru August 31st. Free shipping will NOT be offered during Black Friday shopping. If free shipping is your thing, now’s your chance, it’s only offered once a year and this is it.
There you have it. Three good reasons why it’s not too soon to start your holiday shopping.
For real though, I don’t want to be the grinch and tell you no because you waited until the last minute.
Get in the shop now.
Til next time,
p.s. One year, we bought my cat lovin’ father in-law an ugly Christmas sweater with cats all over it as a joke and he actually wears it with pride. Joke's on us.
p.p.s. Know someone who loves to shop for beachy goods in the comfort of their home and who also loves free shipping? Share this with them!
