Summertime is here and I hope your summer is filled with lots of sunny rays, sand between your toes and ice cream for dinner. Seriously. Who wants to cook when it’s 110 degrees outside?
I love the long summer days and one of my favorite things to do at the end of the day is watch the sunset. Is there a better way to end the day?
There’s something about watching the warm, glowy, orb sinking beneath the horizon that brings a sense of peace at the end of the day.
Even if you’ve had a bad day, it’s like the sun nods its head and says, “it’s alright, you get a do over tomorrow.”
Or, a nod in celebration when you’ve had a super awesome day. Like the sun was watching and nods, “Hey, I saw what you did there. You’re a rock star”.
I’m going to share with you some of my favorite places to watch the sunset over the next four weeks. Starting today, with this place, Honeymoon Island.
Where is your favorite place to watch the sunset?
See you on the beach,
Jen
