Happy New Year! I hope your holidays were extra fab and you made it through without suffering from a holiday hangover. How you doing with that resolution?
Truth: New Year’s resolutions really aren’t my thing and here’s why… If I really want to stop/start something I just do it. Improvements can start anytime. Why wait until January 1st?
(exception: that annual detox/cleanse thing my husband and I do every freakin’ February for the last 15 years. No more spaghetti and tacos, my two favorite food groups. For 28 days. Good times.)
Besides, it takes me until the 2nd week of January to recover from the holiday chaos which, is why I’m popping into your inbox now instead of last Tuesday when it was actually New Years Day. Instead of resolutions, I’ve learned to appreciate my least favorite months of the year as a time to, get back to my daily yoga practice, eat healthier (buh-bye Christmas cookies hello, broccoli) and slow down in general and live in the moment.
And I do it all for YOU! And my own well-being of course but, all that cleansing/detoxing, tree huggin’ stuff brings clarity and focus which means cool things in the works at SableSol. Like…
